Memorandum: Ukraine-China agricultural cooperation to get strengthened

As of this week, within the official opening of the China International Import Expo 2018 within Shanghai, with participation of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, the Public JSC Ukrainian State Food and Grain Corporation and China National Complete Engineering Corporation (CCEC) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding regarding further agricultural cooperation, Ukrainian Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food reports.
As to the report, the signing ceremony was attended by Ukrainian Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food on European Integration Olgha Trofimtseva, Chairman of the Board of China National Machinery Industry Corporation SINOMACH Ren Hongbin, Acting Chairwoman of the Board of the Public JSC Ukrainian State Food and Grain Corporation Iryna Marchenko and President of CCEC Ms. Yang Jing.
Reportedly, the purpose of this Memorandum is to establish the basis for priority projects implementation within the field of agriculture of Ukraine and to demonstrate the understanding of all Parties regarding further cooperation in accordance with the General Contract between the Public JSC Ukrainian State Food and Grain Corporation and CCEC.
«We are confident that within the future, implementation of the Memorandum will allow the Grain Corporation to boost volumes of grains trade, expand the trade range of grains and products of processing on the territory of the PRC, including supply of flour, flakes, muesli, cereals and combined feed to the PRC and third countries,» Marchenko admitted.
