President listens to reports of heads of regions on results of regional development for the first half-year period and future plans.
Within the framework of the working leave President Yanukovych meets the heads of local executive government.
Starting from the beginning of the current week President Yanukovych meets with Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Crimea Anatoliy Mogilev, Head of Odessa Regional State Administration Eduard Matviychuk, Head of Kherson Regional State Administration Mykola Kostyak, Head of Mykolayiv Regional State Administration Mykola Kruglov, Head of Zaporizhzhya Regional State Administration Oleksandr Peklushenko, Head of Kirovohrad Regional State Administration Serhiy Larin, Head of Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration Oleksandr Vilkul, Head of Donetsk Regional State Administration Andriy Shyshatsky, Head of Kharkiv Regional State Administration Mykhailo Dobkin, Head of Luhansk Regional State Administration Volodymyr Pristyuk, Head of Kyiv Regional State Administration Anatoliy Prisyazhnyuk, Head of Cherkasy Regional State Administration Serhiy Tulub, Head of Ivano-Frankivsk Regional State Administration Mykhailo Vyshyvanyuk, Head of Kyiv City State Administration Oleksandr Popov, Head of Sevastopol City State Administration Volodymyr Yatsuba.
The Heads of local government presented reports to the President on the results of social and economic development of regions for the first half-year period of 2012 and future plans.
«We expect that economic growth will continue until the end of the year,» the President noted, reminding in particular that in April-June there was an increase in the volume of production.
«It gave us an opportunity to meet our obligations confidently and to pay salaries and pensions in time. I am confident that the second half-year period will be the same,» Viktor Yanukovych said.
