Ministry of Agrarian Policy worried about nitric fertilizers prices growth

Ministry of Agrarian Policy considers present domestic market nitric fertilizers prices boost unmotivated and therefore is worried about it.
«Still within Dec Government took preventive measures: thus, Government adopted Decree on cheapening of natural gas used by chemical companies to produce fertilizers and fixed its stable price. So, there is no reason to raise nitric fertilizers prices,» said Yuriy Luzan, First Deputy Minister of Ministry of Agrarian Policy.
As to Luzan, fertilizers prices have recently grown by 10%.
Luzan made it known this problem had been examined on Ministry of Economics Feb 11/10 meeting. Besides, Luzan admitted Ministry of Agrarian Policy expects nitric fertilizers prices growth should be commented on also by Ukrainian Antimonopoly Committee.
First Deputy Minister added Agrarian Fund is going to start selling 50,000 MT ammoniac saltpeter in near future, what is expected to stabilize country domestic fertilizers market.
Besides, Luzan admitted Ministry of Agrarian Policy expects mineral fertilizers/diesel fuel prices will remain stable within spring sowing campaign even despite these resources prices traditional raising within this year period.
Luzan made it known agricultural companies mineral fertilizers/fuel reserves now are up against last year similar.
