Ukrainian agricultural export up 24.3%

Within this year Jan-Sept Ukrainian agricultural products export has boosted by 24.3% against last year similar, up to USD13.07 milliard (or 41.7% of Ukrainian total export), Ukrinform says referring to the Ukrainian Agrarian Policy and Food Ministry press service report.
«The countries of Asia accounted for the greatest share of our agricultural exports (US$5.525 milliard). The EU countries accounted for US$4.177 milliard, the countries of Africa US$1.997 milliard,» Ukrainian Deputy Agrarian Policy and Food Minister for European Integration Olha Trofimtseva noted.
As to her, the most significant items in the structure of exports were sunflower oil (24.8%), maize (18%), wheat and a mixture of wheat and rye (14.45%), soybeans (4.84%), barley (4.6%) and rapeseed (4.6%).
