Ukrainian President about meeting with Prime Minister of Israel: We managed to build trustful relations

As of yesterday, while on the State visit to Israel, the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has met with the
Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu,
President Petro Poroshenko Press Office reports.
As to the report, within the meeting the parties discussed a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation and coordination of the two countries in the international organizations.
Thus, in part., the parties discussed the situation over Israel, Syria and the entire Middle East including Iraq.
As to the report, another topic of negotiations was the issue of ensuring peace in global context, including the situation in Donbas.
In meanwhile, while assessing the visit, the President called it successful: «We managed to build trustful relations».
As to the report, Poroshenko informed that the parties had discussed a wide range of issues of trade and economic cooperation and achieved a series of agreements. Particularly, the parties agreed to intensify air connection between the two countries.
The President also noted that the visa-free regime between Ukraine and Israel had played a positive role in the intensification of relations between our states.
«The visa-free regime with Israel justified itself and so will the visa-free regime between Ukraine and the EU,» Poroshenko said.
As to Poroshenko, soon the parties will sign the agreement that will allow Ukrainian constructors to work in Israel providing thousands of jobs for Ukrainians.
As to the report, within the meeting a series of agreements concerned cooperation in agricultural sector. Thus, in part., it was agreed with the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Israel that Ukrainian agricultural workers will study modern technologies in Israel.
As to the report, the parties also agreed to conclude the Agreement on Free Trade Area between the two countries in the first half of 2016. In this regard, the President of Ukraine noted that «every second loaf of bread in Israel is already produced from Ukrainian flour».
As to the report, while speaking on coordination of actions of the two countries in the international arena, the President told: «We agreed to exchange information and coordinate joint actions in the international organizations taking into account Ukraine’s non-permanent membership in the UN Security Council».
