Mykola Azarov has given tasks for academic economists

11.01.2013 10:44 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) — Prime Minister expects from the leading local economic experts the proposals for the development of the domestic market of Ukraine. Thus, during a yesterday meeting with experts in the field of economy, Prime Minister reminded that Ukraine had entered the year 2013 with a realistic budget, which provided for continuation of economic development and increase of social payments, Mykola Azarov Official Website says referring to Government Portal. Currently specific programmes are being developed, that would allow to implement macroeconomic targets set in the budget. «In general, of course, the emphasis is on the development of the internal market, on substitution of a particular share of import with domestic products, which will allow us to stabilize the balance of payments», — Mykola Azarov stressed. Prime Minister also stressed the need to work as to increase the consumption of domestically produced meat by the Ukrainians. In addition, he said, it was necessary to work more active on the issue of affordable housing, provision of affordable credits, lower interest rates, etc. «That is, there are a number of issues on the agenda, the solution of which would determine the trajectory of economic and social growth for 2013, 2014 and beyond», — Head of the Cabinet said.
