The Coca-Cola Company invites Californians to experience the fountain of the future
25.06.2010 09:42 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) —
Coca-Cola North America today announced that it will test Coca-Cola FreestyleTM, The Coca-Cola Company’s new proprietary fountain dispenser in the Southern California area. The dispenser offers consumers an unprecedented variety of ice-cold branded beverages. Dispensers already are installed in ten Jack in the Box restaurants in San Diego County with installations planned for select SUBWAY, Carl’s Jr., El Pollo Loco, Noodles and Pei Wei Asian Diner restaurants throughout the summer.
The new self-serve fountains - which represent a complete departure from anything The Coca-Cola Company has offered before - have been in development for more than four years. The sleek, stylish units are touch screen operated, enabling consumers to select from more than 100 regular and low-calorie beverage brands - including many varieties of waters, juices, teas and sparkling beverages that have never before been sold in the U.S.
«We have captured the essence of what is so magical about Coca-Cola and the fountains of the past and partnered with technology leaders across a variety of industries to create a completely new beverage experience,» said Gene Farrell, vice president, Special Projects, Coca-Cola North America. «I believe we have created a concept that will become the soda fountain of the future - a representation of the way people will experience our beverages years from now.»
The Coca-Cola FreestyleTM dispenser uses proprietary PurePour TechnologyTM and has the capacity to dispense more than 100 beverages in the same amount of space as a standard eight-valve machine.
