Within Jan-Apr companies boosted potatoes average sale price to UAH2,227 per MT

03.06.2010 10:22 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) — Within Jan-Apr 2010 all kinds property agricultural companies (except small-scale ones) have raised average potatoes sale price to UAH2,227 per MT, up UAH575 per MT (+ 35%) against Jan-Apr 2009, reported State Statistics Committee. As to report, companies sold potatoes to processors at UAH263,7 per MT. As to Committee, potatoes were sold on markets at UAH1,885 per MT (UAH2,324 - through other trade channels). As to Committee, agrarians gave potatoes to population (incl. public catering system) on account of salaries at UAH1,625 per MT; potatoes were given to shareholders on account of land plots/property shares rental payment at UAH1,927 per MT. As to report, in Jan-Apr 2009 agrarians sold potatoes at UAH1,652 per MT. As to Agro Perspective earlier report, in Jan-Mar 2010 agrarians sold potatoes at UAH2,306 per MT. As to Agro Perspective, in 2009 all kinds property agricultural companies (except small-scale ones) sold potatoes at average UAH1,299 per MT, up against UAH1,154 per MT in 2008. In 2007, agrarians were selling potatoes at average UAH1,032 per MT.
