India launches UK, EU talks to determine sugar preferential export quotas after Brexit

As of this week, India has started talks with the UK and the European Union (EU) to determine the lots of its sugar preferential tariff export after Brexit, Ukrainian National Association of Sugar Producers says referring to the Sugar.ru report.
It is to be admitted, now the EU allows India to export 10,000 tonnes of sugar at preferential tariff (under the CXL quota). Using CXL EU export concession, Indian traders export their sugar with a relatively low customs duty.
in meanwhile, the Indian experts believe that after the UK leaves the EU, the amount of their sugar preferential export is to be revised.
