Belarus sugar export up almost 5%

As of 2018, Belarus boosted sugar export to 427,200 tons, up 4.9% against 2017, Ukrainian National Association of Sugar Producers says referring to the export.by report.
As to the report, as of 2018, Belarus also raised its sugar export to CIS countries to 426,200 tons, up 5.6% against 2017. However, at same time, as of 2018, Belarus declined its sugar export to the non-CIS countries to 1,000 tons, down 1.71 times against 2017.
As to the report, as of 2018, Belarus was exporting its sugar at US$427 per ton average sale price (down 9.5% against 2017), with sugar being export ed to the CIS countries at average US$427 per ton (down 9.6%) and to the non-CIS countries - at average US$486 per ton (+ 1.6%).
