As of 2018, Ukraine opened 85 new export markets

As of 2018, Ukraine significantly expanded its animal/plant products’ export markets, Ukrinform says referring to Head of the State Food Safety and Consumer Protection Service Volodymyr Lapa report.
«Over the past ten years, Ukraine has succeeded to reach a breakthrough within the export of a number of anumal products,» he said.
As to Lapa, as of 2018, Ukraine widened its animal products’ export geography. The number of Ukrainian producers having got the right to make animal products’ export also boosted.
Thus, as of 2018, Ukraine opened in total 85 new export sale markets for different types of animal products. As of now, the poultry/poultry products are now shipped to Albania, Ghana, Hong Kong, Morocco; the dairy products and mixed feeds are exported Macedonia, live sheep/goats are brought to UAE, poultry meat to Tunisia, eggs/egg products to Montenegro, and so on.
In addition, due to the process of approximation of the Ukrainian legislation and standards to the best practices of the EU, now 306 Ukrainian companies have already received the right to export their ready products to the EU countries, incl. 126 foods’ producers (poultry, fish, honey, eggs, dairy products).
