Agrarian Ministry discussed agricultural machinery conformity changes with producers and importers

As of yesterday, the Ukrainian Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food had arranged a round table discussion «Implementation of the updated European technical legislation on the approval of agricultural and forestry vehicles in Ukraine», Ukrainian Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food reports.
As to the report, the discussion was organized with the assistance of the EU project «Support to the Implementation of Agricultural and Food Policy within Ukraine».
As to the report, the participants were acquainted with the current state of implementation of the European model of the equipment/machinery admission to the market of agricultural and forestry vehicles. In particular, the optimal ways of implementation of the updated EU legislation on conformity assessment of agricultural and forestry machinery in Ukraine were discussed.
Reportedly, these changes will consist of amending the current technical regulations, introduction of new technical regulations and development of a number of orders from the Ministry of Agrarian Policy regarding certain requirements for machinery.
It is to be admitted, simultaneously with the approval of the new technical regulation, the Ministry is going to some acts of the EU which set requirements for environmentally friendly vehicles, their technical and functional safety, administrative procedures and documents.
It is to be noted, since some transitional periods may last several years, the Ministry has developed amendments to the current technical regulations.
