13.02.2019 18:07 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) —
As to the world experts/traders’ forecasts, as of 2019, the world sugar prices will start going up, Ukrainian National Association of Sugar Producers says referring to the Reuters report.
As to the experts, global raw sugar prices will boost averagely by 15% and will end the year at 14.60 cents per pound.
As to the report, within 2019/2020 MY, the world sugar balance will turn into a deficit phase of 1.99 million tons (down against surplus 2.55 million tons as of 2018/2019 MY).
Experts admit these changes are motivated partly by the expectations for the Indian sugar output to decline to 29.5 million tonnes within 2019/2020 MY, down against 32 million tonnes within 2018/2019 MY.
