09.11.2018 23:39 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) —
Within this year Jan-Sept, the foreign trade turnover of agricultural/food products between Ukraine and the EU countries has grown to US$6.07 milliard, up 5.4% against last year similar, Ukrinform says referring to the Ukrainian Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food on European Integration Olga Trofimtseva report.
As to the report, within this year Jan-Sept, Ukrainian agricultural/food products export has declined to US$4.12 milliard, down 2% against last year similar.
It is to be reminded, within 2016 Jan-Sept, Ukrainian agricultural/food products export to the EU market was almost US$2.9 milliard.
«Despite the slowdown of the growth rates of Ukrainian agricultural and food products export to the EU markets this year, we are sure that further reduction of trade barriers between Ukraine and the EU will have a positive effect on both sides, and more and more Ukrainian exporters will enter the EU markets with their own products,» Trofimtseva said.
