Ukrainian ice cream quality remains high

18.06.2018 22:39 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) — As of last week, the Association of Ukrainian Producers Ice Cream and Frozen Foods together with domestic ice cream producers, once again, made quality tests of the Ukrainian-brands ice cream and frozen semi-finished products, Ukrainian Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food says referring to the Association report. As to the report, the Association experts had taken 8 samples of ice cream from 5 Ukrainian producers, as well as 2 samples of frozen semi-finished products from 2 producers within the domestic retail trade network. The samples were tested at the State Company «All-Ukrainian State Scientific and Output Center for Standardization, Metrology, Certification and Consumer Protection» on physico-chemical, organoleptic, microbiological and molecular-genetic indices. As to the research results, all tested samples fully comply with the norms and requirements of the Ukrainian normative documents. It is to be admitted, the Association of Ukrainian Producers Ice Cream and Frozen Products is a powerful public association established Oct 30, 2001, consisting of 36 Ukrainian ice cream/frozen foods’ producers. The Association protects the rights and interests of the Ukrainian producers, promotes the development of ice cream/frozen feeds output, provides information support to producers.
