President: Changes within Ukraine are tangible for business

As of today, while speaking within a meeting with representatives of business circles in Kyiv, Ukrainian
President Poroshenko has noted that regular polls by the European Business Association and the American Chamber of Commerce demonstrate that changes within Ukraine are becoming tangible for the business environment, President Petro Poroshenko Press Office reports.
«Thank you for the unbiased and objective assessment of these changes regarding investors’ attitude,» he said.
As to the report, Poroshenko drew attention to the report of the European External Action Service and the European Commission on the progress of reforms within 2017, which was promulgated as of this year Nov 15.
So, the President noted that due to the survey, 65% of international companies operating within Ukraine expect growth next year, 40% of which expect a double-digit growth.
«Ukraine, as to the same survey, is becoming an interesting place for investment in production for the purpose of further export to Europe, in particular Eastern and Southern, as well as to Turkey. Among the 23 markets in the region, Ukraine has risen from the 22nd place within 2015 to the 5th within 2017, according to the dynamics of sales,» the Head of State said.
As to the report, the President also thanked all international companies that have changed their governance structure in the region.
«Over 60% of companies present within Ukraine, who previously were focused on their offices in Moscow, are now subject to European headquarters,» Poroshenko admitted.
