Ukrainian companies will ship equipment to Belarus

Within this year Oct 11–13, Ukrainian Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade Yuriy Brovchenko paid an official visit to the Republic of Belarus, where he took part within the third meeting of the Belarusian-Ukrainian working group on industrial cooperation, Government Portal reports.
As to the report, within 2016 the trade turnover between Ukraine and Belarus showed positive dynamics as compared to last year figures and began to grow.
Reportedly, within the first 5 months of 2017, the trade volumes between Ukraine and the Republic of Belarus amounted to USD1.64 milliard, up 25.4% or USD331.7 million against 2016 similar.
As to the report, the volume of export of Ukrainian goods to the Republic of Belarus amounted to USD 426.9 million (up 44.7% against 2016 similar).
As to the report, within the meeting Yuriy Brovchenko and Dmitry Korchik, Deputy Minister of Industry of the Republic of Belarus singled out promising areas of cooperation within this year and discussed plans for 2018.

Ukrainian plant Electrotyazhmash and Belarusian OJSC BELAZ as well as between State-run company Ukrainian Research Institute Special Steels, Alloys and Ferroalloys and OJSC Borisov Plant of Automotive and Tractor Electrical Equipment. I am deeply convinced that the arrangements made within this visit will bring tangible results,» Brovchenko emphasized.
