Groisman claims there are no reasons for gas price hike

As of today, while sharing an interview with 112. UA. TV channel, Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groisman admitted there are no reasons for boosting of the gas price within Ukraine, hence it is of the utmost importance to prevent the growth of prices for heat and hot water on the ground, Government Portal reports.
«I do not see any reasons to change the gas price. The tarrifs on heat and hot water are to remain unchanged on the ground,» the PM emphasized.
As to the report, the PM reminded the responsibility for the tariff policy is borne by the local authorities and added that he expects
local leaders will assume responsibility as well as will not allow any price hikes.
Moreover, Groisman assured that there are no problems as for subsidies providing.
«We have sufficient financial resources in order to ensure social protection for everyone who needs it,
and next year we are going to allocate UAH55 milliard, so all people who are entitled to a subsidy will receive it irrevocably, without any hurdles.
This is a targeted aid, nobody will be left alone with problems,» Groisman said.
