Groisman opens Government meeting: essential theme is reforms support

13.09.2017 13:08 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) — As of today, Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groisman has opened the Government meeting and announced the State reforms’ support and further transformations being its central topics, Government Portal reports. As to the report, Groisman has reminded that the policy pursued by the Government to overhaul the country already yields result. Hence, it is vital these days to demonstrate unity in adopting the most urgent decisions for the country. Among them - the approval of the draft state budget for 2018, which will be presented this Friday, Sept 15, and the final approval of the draft law on the pension reform, scheduled for next week. «We have surmounted the crisis, we have maintained control over the situation», the PM said. «We are to build, to do everything necessary to bring about positive change within the lives of citizens», he stressed. «Today we will also consider the program of development of farming,» Groisman said. He reminded that the Government is to allocate UAH1 milliard for this program implementation. «We will boost the number of farms in geometric progression. We must give a new impetus to the farms, thereby allowing the country to supply the domestic market with high-quality products and create new jobs,» Groisman emphasized.
