13.09.2017 16:11 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) —
As of today, while speaking within a Cabinet meeting, Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groisman has said the Government is going to to allocate UAH1 milliard to support Ukrainian farmers, Ukrinform reports.
«As I promised this summer, we will provide UAH1 milliard as a targeted support for Ukrainian farming, including the revival of livestock and the creation of needed conditions for the development of small farms. Our task is to support an increase in the number of farms in our country,» Groysman said.
As to the report, the PM has also stated that support for the development of Ukrainian farming had been inappropriately provided for a long time.
«These are high-quality Ukrainian products, these are jobs within villages, and if they are combined with the opportunities for decentralization the result will be enormous,» Groisman stressed.
