12-year education possible to be introduced within Ukraine

29.05.2017 16:36 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) — While sharing an interview with Ukrainian radio, Ukrainian Vice Prime Minister Vyacheslav Kyrylenko has said the Government called on the Parliament to support, before the current session ending, the draft Law «On Education» containing the Strategy to Reform Secondary Education until 2029 (a new concept of Ukrainian school), NRCU reports. As to the report, the Strategy stipulates the growth of the teachers’ salaries, schools’ financial autonomy, parental self-government and orientation of educational establishments to the individual abilities of each child. As to the report, he said that if MPs would vote for a new law within this year Jul, the 12-year school education could be introduced from the first of this year Sept (or, if not, since the next year similar).
