Eurovision 2017 officially opened

As of yesterday evening, the official opening ceremony of the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 was held in Kyiv, Ukrinform reports.
As to the report, the event was held in the Parkoviy Exhibition and Congress Centre, where one of three official locations of the contest, Euroclub, is located.
As to the report, at the beginning of the event, the guests were congratulated by First Lady of Ukraine Maryna Poroshenko, Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klichko and Executive Supervisor of the Eurovision Song Contest Jon Ola Sand.
Reportedly, winner of Eurovision 2016 Jamala as well as Oleg Skrypka, Druga Rika band and Winner of Eurovision 2004 Ruslana performed at the opening event, however, the journalists did not get to this part.
After the official ceremony, the celebration continued with a party with current Eurovision participants from four countries: Robin Bengtsson (Sweden), Isaiah (Australia), Nathan Trent (Austria) and Lindita (Albania).
It is to be admitted, the semifinals of the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 will be held at the International Exhibition Center on May 9 and 11, and the final on May 13.
