President and his wife prayed for Ukraine on Easter night

On Easter night, Ukrainian President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and his wife Maryna Poroshenko visited several Christian churches of Kyiv and participated within festive divine service, President Petro Poroshenko Press Office reports.
As to the report, within St. Volodymyr Cathedral, the Presidential couple took part in sacred procession with Patriarch of Kyiv and All Rus Ukraine, Head of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Kyivan Patriarchate Filaret and believers. Then, they took part in the Easter Service held by the Head of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Kyivan Patriarchate.
Petro and Maryna Poroshenko also visited St. Alexander Roman Catholic Cathedral and Monastery of St. Basil the Great of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church.
As to the report, the Head of State and his wife also visited the Holy Dormition Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra where the divine service was held by Primate of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church Metropolitan Onufriy.
As to the report, the Presidential couple congratulated believers on Easter in all churches.
