Groisman: Pension Fund deficit begins declining

As of last week, while speaking within the National Trilateral Social-Economic Council meeting, Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groisman said the Ukrainian Pension Fund deficit shows a tendency towards decline, Government Portal reports.
As to the report, Groisman reminded about a decision on the twofold boost of minimum wage (thus already within this year Jan 4 million Ukrainian citizens had received a higher pay).
Besides, Groisman highlighted that due to the rise of the minimum wage up to UAH3,200, the unemployment rate is gradually falling.
«It is apparent that the employment rate is growing, unemployment is falling, respectively. The number of vacancies in the labour market has grown by 47%. This is only the beginning,» he stressed.
As to him, the Government essential goal within 2017 is formation of new approaches and introducing a fair pension system.
As to Groisman, the Government engages in elaboration of such solutions and will soon be ready to offer necessary decisions.
He added that the Governemnt current task is to provide higher retirement payments for the Ukrainian citizens.
