Groisman: Our 2017 goal is customs service modernizing and revenues boosting

As of today, while speaking within a seminar dedicated to considering the development of the investment and export potential of regions, Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groisman has said among the Government priorities for 2017 is modernizing the customs service so that it allows the country to boost revenues from customs duties due to the elimination of corruption schemes, Government Portal reports.
«Our goal is to modernize the customs service in 2017, to grow these revenues. These funds belong to the Ukrainian people,» Groisman admitted.
As to Groisman, the Government has succeeded in liquidation of a number of corruption schemes at the customs. Since the beginning of the customs service reform within May 2016, there was achieved, already within Aug 2016, a steady growth of the State Budget revenues.
