Groisman chaired National Industry Development Committee first field meeting

As of today, within his visit of PJSC Kryukov Railway Car Building Works, Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groisman has held a first field meeting of the Ukrainian National Industry Development Committee, Government Portal reports.
«Our task is to develop a mechanism of support for the domestic Ukrainian enterprises on the way of production of competitive goods, creating necessary added value through using each available opportunity and resource. Proper organization, coordination and support will enable us to obtain a very good result,» Groisman said while opening the meeting.
As to the report, the PM noted that was the first meeting of the National Industry Development Committee of Ukraine that was taking place at the enterprise of the real sector. Its main topic for discussion is the possibility of stimulating the development of Ukrainian Railways and other machine building sector.
Reportedly, Groisman noted that PJSC «Ukrzaliznytsia», a potential milliard-profit company, within a decade had been driven to plight. Presently its rolling stock needs to be modernized as its depreciation totals 80–90%.
As to the report, the PM noted that the Government and the Parliament must unite efforts and stimulate the development of machine engineering in order to find necessary solutions. As to him, the President supports a policy of revival of the Ukrainian industry. Such joint endeavors will definitely strengthen the position of Ukraine both on domestic and foreign markets.
