Arrival of IMF mission to Kyiv postponed
26.10.2016 16:54 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) —
The arrival of the mission of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) to Kyiv has been postponed due to internal reasons of the Fund, NRCU reports.
It is to be admitted, the four-year EFF program for Ukraine stipulates provision to Ukraine of the IMF loan totaling US$17 milliard. Initially it was assumed that the third tranche would amount to about US$1.7 milliard but later on the amount of the loan tranche was reduced to US$1 milliard.
It is to be reminded, two previous tranches were received by Ukraine last year (spring
USD5 milliard and summer USD1,7 milliard).
In fact, presently Ukraine is not keeping up with the terms of implementing of the effectiveness criteria outlined in the memorandum of economic and financial policy revised when the third tranche was provided.
