Poroshenko: Heads of State of Normandy format agreed to elaborate roadmap for Minsk agreements implementation

As of yesterday, in Berlin, while speaking following the negotiations of the heads of state in the Normandy format, the Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko said that within
the negotiations the parties had agreed to elaborate a «roadmap» for the implementation of the Minsk agreements, President Petro Poroshenko Press Office reports.
«Our main task over the past 6 months was to switch the format of relations to the creation of a „roadmap“ that will clearly define two components. The component of sequence of steps aimed at the implementation of the Minsk agreements and the guarantees of their fulfillment,» Poroshenko told.
As to the report, Poroshenko emphasized that «half a year ago nobody wanted to hear anything about the roadmap». However, he said, due to the persistence of the Ukrainian party, that was achieved.
As to the report, Ukrainian President noted that «there is no alternative to the Normandy format for today, which was clearly determined within the past meeting».
"We must elaborate and approve an efficient «roadmap,» he said.
«The Ukrainian proposal was supported by our German and French partners at first. For today, German and French proposals on the basis of the „roadmap“ have been approved by the Normandy format,» President admitted.
As to the report, Poroshenko told that the Ministers of Foreign Affairs had been instructed to approve the basis of the «roadmap» by end this year Nov.
«We have set the main vectors of this map,» Ukrainian President noted.
Correspondingly, the parties to the Normandy format agreed that their foreign ministers will meet once again within the next month and sum up the results to prepare for the next meeting of the heads of state.
As to the report, Ukrainian President admitted the «roadmap» is a document on the implementation of all documents approved within the Minsk agreements.
