Poroshenko admits Ukrainian banking system, macro-financial situation are, upon whole, being stabilized

As of today, while giving a press conference in Kyiv, the Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has noted Ukrainian banking system and macro-financial situation have reached a certain stabilization, President Petro Poroshenko Press Office reports.
As to the President, the terms of receiving the IMF tranche did not change. He assured that it would be received.
As to the report, Poroshenko urged journalists to be responsible in the distribution of information, verify it thoroughly and rely on the authoritative source in the coverage of Ukraine’s cooperation with the IMF, assessment of the work of the National Bank of Ukraine and formation of the Board of the National Bank of Ukraine.
Reportedly, the President also commented on the situation in the banking sphere and the activity of the National Bank’s leadership: «Governor of the National Bank of Ukraine is a professional who ensures stability of the banking system».
As to the report, the President noted that «today, we have all reasons to say that the situation in the banking system is being stabilized, just as the macro-financial situation».
As to him, Ukraine grows its gold and foreign currency reserves, stabilizes exchange rate and carries out efficient inflation targeting.
«In the nearest time, in June, the National Bank will be ready to adopt a decision on the lifting of restrictions on the payment of dividends to investors for 2014 and 2015. In conditions of improving investment climate, it will be a long-awaited decision that solves a great number of problems,» the President emphasized.
