EU-Ukraine summit scheduled for May

The Ukraine-EU summit is to be held within May, 2016, UNIAN says referring to the Head of Division for bilateral relations with the Eastern Partnership countries in the European External Action Service Dirk Schuebel report made at the European Parliament today, at the session of EU-Ukraine Association Committee.
«The next big event is the EU-Ukraine summit, which is preliminarily scheduled for May,» Schuebel admitted.
It is to be mentioned, while speaking about the agenda of the EU-Ukraine relations, the EU diplomat said that the priority is the issue of application of a Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area. «It has been a very important step,» he said.
As to Schuebel, aside from the market openings, it also includes a comprehensive program for economic and trade-related reforms.
«And if these were to be implemented, which will be hard work, no doubt, this will provide more security and stability for investors,» Schuebel said.
