New batch of South African coal to arrive to Ukraine on Feb 4-5

20.01.2016 11:18 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) — The Ukrainian Energy and Coal Industry Minister Volodymyr Demchyshyn expects the arrival of a new batch of anthracite coal from South Africa on Feb 4–5, UNIAN says referring to the Demchyshyn Kyiv press conference yesterday report. «We expect the vessel to arrive on Feb 4–5,» he admitted. It is to be reminded, the State-run Centrenergo earlier had announced that a second vessel carrying 85,000 tons of coal is arriving in Ukraine from South Africa late in Jan 2016. As to the earlier report, the first batch of 168,000 tons of South African coal had been shipped by sea early in Dec 2015. Demchyshyn said that the coal had been bought by Centrenergo at US$57 per ton.
