Germany is a reliable partner of Ukraine - Petro Poroshenko following the meeting with Angela Merkel

As of yesterday, within his working visit to France, the Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko had a meeting with the Federal Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel, President Petro Poroshenko Press Office reports.
As to the report, Petro Poroshenko informed Angela Merkel on the recent developments in Donbas. The parties expressed concern over significant growth of ceasefire regime violations that takes place recently. The leaders emphasized the necessity of full and strict implementation of the Minsk agreements by the Russian party.
Reportedly, commenting on the aftermath of the meeting, the President noted that it had been efficient and confirmed that Germany is a reliable partner of Ukraine, which supports the implementation of reforms in our country.
The parties coordinated actions within the Normandy format to increase security on the touch line and efficiency of the Trilateral Contact Group and the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission.
«I would like to remind that Germany would chair the OSCE in 2016 and we would like to use these opportunities in full, inter alia, to increase efficiency of the OSCE SMM,» the President emphasized.
As to the report, the interlocutors discussed the course of reforms, the issue of visa-free regime, financial and consultative aid to Ukraine in reformation. The Chancellor expressed support for the Ukrainian anti-corruption efforts.
Reportedly, the two Heads of State confirmed the irreversibility of DCFTA establishment between Ukraine and the EU on Jan 1, 2016.
