Yatseniuk: We expect 4.7 million households to apply for subsidies

In the amendments to the State Budget it is offered to allocate an additional sum worth UAH56 million to pay bonuses to social department employees who deal with assigning subsidies and who are now subjected to heavy workload, Government Portal sasy referring to the Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk report made today at an extended meeting of the Government with participation of the Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko and Verkhovna Rada Chairman Volodymyr Groisman.
Yatseniuk noted that Ukrposhta is also engaged in the process of assigning housing subsidies. As to Arseniy Yatseniuk, this institution «has allocated UAH2 million as the reward fund for their employees that help us to issue housing subsidies».
Besides, the Prime Minister also stressed that the previous year the subsidies had been paid to 450 thousand households, while this year their number reached already 2.7 million.
«We expect at least another 2 million households will come for subsidies,» he stressed. said.
It is stipulated UAH24.5 in the Budget to provide subsidies, he said.
As to jim, another UAH5.9 milliard is the sum envisaged in the amendments to the State Budget to compensate for the difference in tariffs: «The dollar rose in the start of the year, so the tariffs hiked. The state undertook the responsibility to recompense for the difference in tariffs through rise in the dollar».
«We have created a system giving an opportunity to compensate to population for the money loss,» Yatseniuk added.
