Kyiv to plant magnolia alley

21.02.2013 15:22 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) — This year an alley of a record number of magnolias will be planted in Kyiv, general director of the Kyivzelenstroy public association Mykhailo Tsarenko told journalists during the international scientific and practical conference on the development of green economy, ForUm correspondent reports. At the same time, he did not specify where exactly this alley will be planted, however, according to him, the work on its creation will begin as soon as the snow melts. Responding to a question, how many magnolias will be planted, Tsarenko said: «The Book of Records of Ukraine will show how many magnolias will be.» In addition, he said that 500 thousand roses and 7 thousand different trees will be planted in the capital. Tserenko also reported that Kyivzelenstroy is holding talks with various large car companies to offer planting a tree in the capital for every sold car.
