The first steps to simplify the registration of property have been taken

On February 4, the Government led by Mykola Azarov took a number of decisions on the proper functioning of the system of state registration of property rights in real estate, Mykola Azarov Official Website reports.
Two weeks ago, Prime Minister instructed to simplify and speed up the registration of real property, and to remove all the shortcomings of the new service.
At today’s meeting, the Cabinet has approved a decree that stipulates that local authorities will equip working places of State Registrars in offices, where registrars of the Bureau of Technical Inventory were working till January 1, 2013.
The Government decision also provides for measures for the retaining of the files of technical inventory, registration books and archives, that are in the BTI.
The document also recommends local authorities to provide a free access to the records of technical registration, registration books and archives for the state registrars, so that they could properly study the requests.
In addition, the Ministry of Regional Development should ensure a smooth operation of the Attestation Architectural and Construction Commission, post information about persons who have been re-attested on the ministry’s website and organize active explanatory work on the professional attestation of those responsible for technical inventory of items of immovable property.
