Government will improve investment climate in Ukraine

This was announced by Mykola Azarov on January 18 at a meeting with foreign investors, Mykola Azarov Official Website.
Prime Minister stressed that creation of optimal conditions for business and improvement of investment climate are some of the main directions of reforms this year.
«The government will continue the work on deregulation, on reduction of the administrative pressure upon business, protection of property rights and development of the judicial system. Tax Service will create an atmosphere of trust between a taxpayer and business. The number of different kinds of verifications will be also reduced,» Head of the Government said.
He also said that more than 300 government documents had been approved, that created a secure environment for conduct of business.
«We understand how difficult the conditions are now in terms of foreign markets, and understand the difficulties within the country. Therefore, the task of the Government is to minimize risks and ensure normal conditions for the operation of business,» Mykola Azarov said.
In addition, Prime Minister noted that a number of measures would be taken that would allow to refuse tightening monetary policy and move to moderate inflation. He reminded that Ukraine had at year-end of 2012 a positive, albeit small growth rate of GDP, and in the current year, according to Government forecasts, the increase would approximately amount to 3%.
