Ukraine can count on a good harvest

According to operational information at the beginning of January of winter emerging crops were obtained for 96% of cultivated areas. "Compared with 2011, the weakened crops are three times less. This is a good indicator that gives hope for a good harvest, "- Mykola Azarov said. Head of the Government noted that harvest volume planned by the state should solve key problems: to fully provide the country with food grain, to provide sufficient food resources for further increasing the number of stock and to fully meet export contracts. Prime Minister also stressed that the Government had created the conditions for an organized and accessible provision of spring field works with all the necessary resources. In addition, he drew attention of the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry and the Ministry of Agrarian Policy, that they should meet the needs of agricultural producers in diesel fuel and gasoline, «By the beginning of spring field work we have to provide fuel in full. And at stable prices.»
