Ukrainian Prime Minister has named top-priority tasks for 2013 as regards enhancement of economic development

Mykola Azarov has named top-priority tasks for 2013 to enhance economic development and has given appropriate instructions to the First Deputy Prime Minister Serhiy Arbuzov, Mykola Azarov Official Website reports.
In particular, the First Vice Prime Minister has become responsible for monitoring the implementation of the programme on import substitution in Ukraine, which is very important to stimulate domestic production and jobs and to reduce the negative balance of foreign trade balance.
Serhiy Arbuzov, in addition, has been assigned to monitor the issues of effective management of state tariff policy, and exercise tight control over the presentation and analysis of the financial plans of the enterprises of the state sector in the economy, which will ensure the effective use of budget funds.
Azarov also said that the First Vice Prime Minister must ensure a high level of performance discipline of executive authorities. According to Prime Minister, the number of outstanding decisions and orders is still significant. Serhiy Arbuzov has been instructed to review the state of implementation of the tasks defined by the decrees and orders of the President, laws of Ukraine, government decisions and to provide weekly monitoring.
