Tax Service issued more than 37 thousand registration numbers to foreigners

03.09.2012 15:16 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) — As reports ForUm referring to STSU (State Tax Service of Ukraine), the State Tax Service of Ukraine has issued 37.5 thousand tax registration numbers (TRN) to foreigners from the beginning of the year. According to the press service of the department, a number of foreigners registered in the State Register of taxpayers increased by 15 percent compared to the last year. «In 2011, 32 thousand foreign citizens received registration numbers,» the STSU reported. According to the tax experts, this growth demonstrates the interest of foreigners in Ukraine as a platform for getting profits. «And this increases the economic attractiveness of the country for potential investors,» the Tax Service noted. According to the department statistics, the State Register has registered 44.5 million individuals. Of them, 441.2 thousand people have been registered in 2012 that is almost by 53 thousand more than the last year.
