Ministry of Fuel and Energy to ship in Apr-May 200.000t Ukrainian petroleum for Agrarian-Industrial Complex fuel production

25.04.2005 08:28 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) — Ministry of Fuel and Energy has decided to ship within Apr-May 200.000t Ukrainian petroleum for Agrarian-Industrial Complex petroleum products production, to be further sold to agrarians at acceptable prices, reported Myckola Yevdoshchuk, Director of Petroleum, Gas and Petroleum Processing Industry Department of Ministry of Fuel and Energy, speaking on springtime field works selector conference. Yevdoshchuk made it known due to Ministry of Fuel and Energy order "90.000t petroleum products will be sold through Ukrnafta and Naftogaz Ukayiny filling stations network. Yevdoshchuk added Ukrainian petroleum diesel fuel price can reach UAH2.400/t. As earlier reported, Oleksandr Baranovskiy, Minister of Agrarian Policy is for petroleum/gas extracted in Ukraine to be used for domestic agricultural companies petroleum products/mineral fertilizers production. Cabinet prohibited diesel fuel export until springtime field works ending. It is to be reminded, Cabinet agreed with petroleum processing plants about supplying agrarians with 600.000t diesel fuel (UAH2.400/t) for spring sowing. Agrarians purchased 103.900t diesel fuel (UAH2.400/t). As to Ministry of Agrarian Policy experts, domestic agrarians annual diesel fuel requirement is 1.9 million tons (with 0.6 million tons needed for spring sowing). Cabinet to work out agrarian sector development complex program until Jun 1 Agro Perspective (Kyiv) — As to Prime Minister Yuliya Tymoshenko report on Cabinet meeting, Cabinet is going to end elaborating Ukrainian economy agrarian sector development complex program until Jun 1. Tymoshenko said program structure is to be approved Apr 18 (Mon). Tymoshenko commissioned creating working group including agrarians problems leading domestic specialists, with group to work on creating mechanisms of agrarian sector mortgage crediting/land problems solving. Prime Minister is convinced program is to contain definite conception of land relations development, agrarian production organizing, products cost analysis, agrarians sector crediting/investments attracting mechanisms and infrastructure/agrarian science development. Tymoshenko summoned agrarians to make main accent on ecologically clean production. «Undoubtedly, mass-scale production is necessary, yet clean products should remain Ukrainian main trademark on world market,» added Prime Minister. As earlier reported, Ministry of Agrarian Policy had elaborated conception of agrarians sector social development nationwide program for period until 2011.
