Wheat: Net sales of 148,800 metric tons for delivery in 2009/10 were down 41 percent from the previous week and 27 percent from the prior 4-week average. Increases were reported for Nigeria (55,100 MT), Venezuela (45,500 MT, including 43,500 MT switched from unknown destinations), Chile (41,900 MT), Guatemala (30,600 MT, including 29,400 MT switched from unknown destinations and decreases of 300 MT), and Brazil (25,500 MT). Decreases were reported for unknown destinations (103,000 MT) and Japan (46,400 MT). Net sales of 336,700 MT for delivery in 2010/11 were mainly for South Korea (92,200 MT), Japan (85,600 MT), Malaysia (46,000 MT), and Mexico (45,000 MT). Decreases were reported for unknown destinations (38,400 MT). Exports of 571,900 MT were up 70 percent from the previous week and 41 percent from the prior 4-week average. The primary destinations were South Korea (103,300 MT), Nigeria (70,900 MT), Japan (60,500 MT), Mexico (47,700 MT), Chile (41,900 MT), and the Philippines (38,500 MT).
Corn: Net sales of 1,030,800 MT for delivery in 2009/10 were down 24 percent from the previous week and 22 percent from the prior 4-week average. Increases were reported for Japan (354,900 MT, including 98,100 MT switched from unknown destinations and decreases of 14,500 MT), China (241,000 MT, including 58,000 MT switched from unknown destinations), Mexico (75,300 MT), unknown destinations (73,800 MT), South Korea (67,800 MT, including 55,000 MT switched from Japan), Saudi Arabia (59,100 MT, switched from South Korea), and Venezuela (34,200 MT, including 6,500 MT switched from Panama). Decreases were reported for Guatemala (7,600 MT). Net sales reductions of 174,000 MT for delivery in 2010/11 resulted as increases for Mexico (11,100 MT), were more than offset by decreases for China (130,000 MT) and South Korea (55,000 MT). Exports of 1,239,800 MT were up 27 percent from the previous week and 31 percent from the prior 4-week average. The primary destinations were Japan (392,700 MT), South Korea (282,700 MT), Mexico (212,500 MT), Egypt (115,600 MT), and Saudi Arabia (59,100 MT). Soybeans: Net sales of 175,400 MT for delivery in 2009/10 were down 63 percent from the previous week and 38 percent from the prior 4-week average. Increases were reported for China (60,000 MT), unknown destinations (40,400 MT), Malaysia (25,200 MT, including 24,500 MT switched from unknown destinations), Japan (18,400 MT, including 9,000 MT switched from unknown destinations and decreases of 4,800 MT), and Mexico (10,400 MT). Decreases were reported for Guatemala (6,000 MT). Net sales of 120,000 MT for delivery in 2010/11 were for China. Exports of 144,500 MT were down 47 percent from the previous week and 44 percent from the prior 4-week average. The primary destinations were Japan (37,200 MT), Malaysia (25,200 MT), Turkey (21,500 MT), Mexico (17,300 MT), and Taiwan (11,300 MT).
