UAC convinced of sunoil prices fall

10.04.2008 17:54 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) — On execution of Ukrainian Antimonopoly Committee (UAC) recommendations, companies Kernel Trade and Suntrade have lowered sunoil wholesale prices by 10-15% since this year Mar 24-25, reported UAC press-service.

As to press-service, UAC has got convinced of it after having learned all country regions inspections preliminary results.

As to report, within inspections UAC carefully analyzed prices lowering data provided by country biggest sunoil producers. Besides, UAC territorial departments experts have also controlled prices fixed in country main retail sale networks (supplied with sunoil by producers): in part., in supermarkets owned by Furshet, Velyka Kyshenia, Silpo, Billa, Metro Cash & Carry Ukraine in different cities and in lots of supermarkets owned by other companies in some regions.

These inspections prove sunoil prices have declined in all regions, though unequally: thus, brand Oleina lowest (UAH9,98-10,19 per MT) sale prices were registered in cities of Lugansk, Myckolayiv, Poltava and Ternopil regions, while highest prices were observed in

c. Sevastopol as well as in cities of Vinnytsia and Zakarpatska regions.
