Ministry of Agrarian Policy raised grains minimal/maximal prices

Due to current agrometeorological conditions being utterly adverse for plants growth/development, Ministry of Agrarian Policy has risen 2007/08 MY State prices regulation objects (in part., grains) minimal/maximal prices.
As to Ministry of Agrarian Policy Decree ¹ 355 from May 25, 2007 “About Urgent Measures on Assuring Agrarians with Winter and Spring Grains Seeds for 2008 Crop” (published on Ministry of Agrarian Policy official website), 2008 crop spring grains sown areas may reach 5.752,600 ha.
Ministry of Agrarian Policy corresponding Decree has been already registered in Justice Ministry; Decree will become effective this year Jun 18.
As to Decree, 1 class soft wheat minimal price has been raised from UAH900 per MT up to UAH1000 per MT (2 class – from UAH850 per MT up to UAH900 per MT, 3 class – from UAH750 to UAH875 per MT, 4 class – from UAH700 up to UAH820 per MT).
1 class hard wheat minimal price was lifted from UAH990 per MT up to UAH1,090 per MT (2 class – from UAH930 per MT up to UAH1,030 per MT, 3 class – from UAH850 to UAH950 per MT, 4 class – from UAH760 up to UAH860 per MT, 5 class – from UAH630 per MT up to UAH780 per MT).
“A” group (1,2,3 classes) rye minimal price has been boosted by UAH200 per MT, – up to correspondingly UAH900 per MT,UAH850 per MT and UAH800 per MT.
As to Agro Perspective earlier report, presently about 10 mn ha sown areas are suffering from drought.
As to Agro Perspective, State prices regulation is executed by way of Agrarian Fund forming of State Food Reserve as well as through Fund agrarian market financial/goods interventions.
