Ukrainian company to launch animal feeds plant within Lithuania

Kormotekh, a leading Ukrainian pet foods’ producer, is going to construct going a dog and cat foods’ plant within Kedainiai Free Economic Zone (Lithuania), Ukrinform says referring to Delfi report.
«It is planned to invest about EUR6 million into the construction of the plant, with about 20 white colars and employees of the administration and 70 workers in the production plant,» said Baltic Engineers, a construction manager selected by the head of construction. The construction is expected to be completed early 2020, with the pant area to total 4,500 square meters ", the report reads.
It is to be admitted, Kormotekh was established within Lviv as of 2003; as of now, Kormotekh produces cat/dog foods. The company exports its products to 19 countries, last year it obtained a permission for the US export.
Within Kedainiai, the new plant is expected to produce 28,000 tonnes of cat/dog foods annually.
