Singapore Mission conducts Ukrainian foods State control system auditing

As of this year Jul 30, a delegation of the Agro-Food and Veterinary Service of the Republic of Singapore started to work within Ukraine for the first time, in order to conduct an audit of the system of the Ukrainian State control of poultry industry products (in part., poultry and meat products, eggs and egg products), Ukrainian Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food reports.
As to the report, the delegation has already examined the work of the Ukrainian State Procurement Civic Service and its territorial bodies, the Ukrainian system of the State laboratories and hospitals of veterinary medicine, and the procedure for certification of domestic agricultural products for export.
As to the report, the delegation has also examined the Ukrainian regulatory documents that regulate domestic animal health and food safety, the system for monitoring and control of poultry diseases. The Singapore delegation also examined the Ukrainian meat inspection systems at slaughterhouses and processing plants, and the procedures for the foods withdrawing from the domestic market.
As of now, the delegation is going to visit the Ukrainian State Research Institute for Laboratory Diagnostics and Veterinary and Sanitary Expertise, a number of border inspection posts and several domestic poultry processing plants interested to start exporting to Singapore.
It is to be admitted, the Singapore delegation will continued working within Ukraine until this year Aug 4.
