Avangard Agroholding hopes to boost its this year output

Avangard Agroholding, the largest Ukrainian eggs producer, hopes to raise its eggs output this year, Interfax-Ukraine says referring the Avangard London Stock Exchange annual report.
As to the report, as of 2017, Avangard declined its eggs’ output to 2.399 million (down 4% against 2016) due to its being engaged within the chicken population renovation.
As to the report, within 2014–2016, Avangard eggs output was constantly declining due to the chicken population reduction (caused by the market demand sharp drop). However, the Avangard management expects this year the market demand will resume as it has already shown a growth tendency. Besides, Avangard domestic market eggs’ sales had also started boosting up within 2017.
It is to be admitted, Avangard is a vertically integrated holding specializing in the eggs/eggs products output; now Avangard is the largest Ukrainian market player.
As of now, the Agroholding owns 19 poultry farms, 10 laying hens’ cultivation farms, 3 incubators, six feed mills, three elevators, and an eggs products’ factory Imperovo Foods. The company exports its products to the markets of the Middle East, Africa, Asia, the CIS and the EU. It is to be admitted, the Avangard shares, in the form of global depositary receipts, are traded on the London Stock Exchange since May 2010.
