Poroshenko opened a new theatre on Podol: We will be proud of this XXI century art temple

As of today, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko and his wife Maryna Poroshenko took part in the opening of the Theatre on Podol, President Petro Poroshenko Press Office reports.
As to Petro Poroshenko, the theater opening is a unique phenomenon as the Theatre on Podol had been built at the cost of a patron of arts.
«Within the last three years, a lot of things have been made for the first time in Ukraine and in Kyiv,» the President said, noting the importance of this event for the cultural development of Ukrainians.
As to the report, Petro Poroshenko called the new theatre a «temple of art of the XXI century» and expressed confidence that «all of us will be proud of it». The President thanked the staff of the theatre for the performances they make for ATO participants and IDPs. Also, he
thanked «Roshen» and its President Viacheslav Moskalevskyi who, as to Petro Poroshenko, «made a huge pile of efforts to create a new theatre on Podol, although it was not easy».
The President also thanked all the enthusiasts, the whole team, volunteers: «Thousands of admirers who believed and supported this extraordinarily large project. It would have been much harder without their will».
As to the report, Petro Poroshenko also noted the role of Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko who as well took part within the theatre opening and had been supporting the project: «It would have been harder to overcome bureaucratic resistance without him».
As to the President, for many art lovers, the Ukrainian theatrical art will take place within this building.
