PM: Ukraine to cooperate with Croatia on gas shipments and implement infrastructure projects with Hungary

Ukraine will deepen its cooperation with Croatia in the energy sector and implement a number of joint infrastructure projects with Hungary. These are the outcomes of the talks with the Prime Ministers of the countries held last week, Government Portal says referring to the
Head of the Ukrainian Government Volodymyr Groisman Facebook today video report.
As to the report, he reminded that at the previous week beginning, with the first official visit over 25 years, Prime Minister of the Republic of Croatia Andrej Plenkovic had arrived to Kyiv.
Thus, within the framework of the negotiations, the Ukrainian/Croatian parties determined a number of issues to deepen bilateral cooperation agenda, in particular in the direction of achieving energy independence.
«There is a very interesting project on gas shipments from Croatia through the LNG terminal. Croatia - Hungary - Ukraine - this will strengthen our energy independence. In the medium term it will be an absolutely real project,» Groisman emphasized.
It is to be admitted, the PM believes that Ukraine should deepen strategic cooperation with neighboring countries.
«Ukraine needs to deepen cooperation with Eastern European countries, especially those with whom we share a border, have our common border as well as with countries which are strategic partners for Ukraine,» Groisman summed up.
