Belarus donates Francysk Skaryna’s Book Legacy to Ukrainian libraries

27.05.2016 17:39 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) — As of yesterday, a unique facsimile edition titled «Francysk Skaryna’s Book Legacy» was donated to the biggest libraries of Ukraine in an official ceremony in Kiev, Belarus Radio says referring to the Belarusian Embassy in Ukraine report. As to the report, the Director of Belarus’ National Library Roman Motulsky donated the books to the National Parliamentary Library of Ukraine, Museum of Books and Printing of Ukraine, the Odessa National Academic Library, Transcarpathian Local History Museum, State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve in Ostrog, Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine and Korolenko Kharkov State Scientific Library. Reportedly, the event was attended by the Director General of the Ukrainian National Parliamentary Library Tamara Vylegzhanina, representatives of the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ukrainian Culture Ministry, diplomats, cultural and art figures of Belarus and Ukraine.
