05.11.2015 19:23 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) —
The EBRD (European Bank for Reconstruction and Development) downgraded its outlook for the fall of the Ukrainian economy in 2015 to 11.5%, from the earlier projected 9%, UNIAN says referring to the Bank website report.
As to the EBRD’s updated forecast, «there is cautious hope that the economy reached the bottom in the middle of 2015 and that the output level will stabilize in the second half of the year amid domestic and regional risks which remain material.»
The report notes that Ukraine generally fulfills the requirements of the cooperation program with the International Monetary Fund.
However, at the same time, the EBRD also forecasts the Ukrainian GDP growth as much as 2% in 2016.
